The Golden Rule has always been

a foundational Biblical teaching.

In Matthew 7:12, Jesus instructs,

"Do to others as you would have them do to you."

"Do unto others as you would have them do unto you,"

also known as "The Golden Rule," is a biblical

precept that is both positive and ethical.

Instead of doing to others what they have done to us

or giving them what they deserve, let us treat them

as we would like to be treated.

Putting oneself in the shoes of others is a practical

way to love them BETTER. When we think about

how we would like to be treated if we were in

their situation, we become less hardened and a

 lot more compassionate.

Do we want to be treated with kindness and

respect? We should then freely give that gift

to others.
